The Role

The Supplier Management Specialist manages enterprise third-party relationships throughout the contract lifecycle to optimize value and mitigate risk. Responsibilities include identifying partner needs, sourcing suppliers, evaluating costs and quality, executing strategic vision, managing relationships, and resolving issues.

This role acts as a subject matter expert on industry trends and best practices, advising stakeholders and supporting additional duties as assigned.

What will you do?
  • Manage assigned Suppliers: liaise with internal stakeholders, develop RFPs, lead project implementations, build business cases, manage supplier relationships, lead review meetings, negotiate contracts, ensure invoice accuracy, identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure Supplier performance, compliance, and governance: develop dashboards, monitor SLAs, analyze invoices, consolidate data for executive dashboards, ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Provide communication and support: respond promptly, prioritize issues, support colleagues, develop relationships with stakeholders.
  • Manage record keeping: maintain contracts and related documents, stay updated on industry and legal trends, and ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
What do you need to succeed?
  • Project management knowledge, ability to work independently or in teams, proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • At least five years of experience in supply chain or contract management, post-secondary education, and pursuit of relevant certifications are preferred. Proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
