Job summary

CIBC is a relationship-focused bank seeking a Senior Analyst, Account Management, Retail Lending to analyze operational results of credit processes and propose improvements. The role supports cross-department collaboration and external vendors, with a hybrid work arrangement (1-3 days on-site).

You will leverage data analytics and portfolio reporting to shape account management strategy, using SAS/SQL and MS Office tools to produce actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAS or similar data mining software (SQL, SPSS) and MS Office.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate results effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics - Collect and analyze data to support the development of account management strategy design.
• Portfolio reporting - Develop, produce, and analyze, specialized and highly iterative portfolio management reporting.
• Credit knowledge & problem solving - Apply combination of technical skills, credit knowledge and creative problem-solving skills develop models and ‘what if’ scenarios to evaluate a range of potential options available to management.
