Job Description

The Senior Analyst – Financial Reporting plays a key role in supporting our financial operations on an international scale. Responsible for consolidated financial reporting and leading the monthly consolidation process, reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role involves maintaining high-quality financial information and contributing to process and control improvements to support the group's growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monthly consolidation and financial reporting :

Consolidate multiple entities in different currencies into group financial statements per ASPE.

• Review entity financials for accuracy before consolidation.
• Participate in profit-sharing allocations between profit centers.
• Perform variance analysis on consolidated statements, investigating significant discrepancies.
• Prepare annual financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
• Generate monthly internal reports for FP&A.
• Corporate compliance :

Implement transfer pricing strategies in financial statements.

• Coordinate group annual audits and serve as the main contact for North American audit teams.
• Collaborate with external auditors, ensuring accurate statements and providing documentation.
• Support other compliance initiatives.
• Complex & Technical Accounting :

Develop and communicate group-wide accounting policies aligned with ASPE.

• Assist local teams in understanding and applying these policies.
• Assess implications of complex transactions and prepare related documentation.
• Controls and Process Improvement :

Work with various teams to ensure aligned financial reporting.

• Identify and implement process efficiencies.
• Manage the group's chart of accounts in reporting tools.
• Create and maintain reports within consolidation and reporting systems.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
• At least 5 years of financial accounting experience in a multinational environment, handling multi-currency and intercompany transactions.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or ASPE.
• Experience with consolidation processes.
• ERP experience, preferably with D365.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, adaptable, and flexible.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written.
