Qualifications

Your contribution!

Reporting to the Manager - Financial Information, you will play a key role in the preparation of consolidated financial information. You will be able to leverage your expertise in consolidation and reporting through several opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.

  • Participate in the quarterly and annual preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports;
  • Play a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for several entities spread across various countries and multiple currencies;
  • Prepare analyses and reconciliations for items in the financial statements under their responsibility;
  • Draft quarterly and annual notes to the consolidated financial statements;
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual preparation of financial statements for various entities;
  • Actively participate in various special projects and conduct various analyses as required;
  • Provide support to other departments within the company on accounting matters.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting;
  • Hold a recognized accounting designation (CPA);
  • Experience in a similar position within a large accounting firm (“Big Four”) or a public company with multiple entities;
  • Good knowledge of IFRS standards; US GAAP standards an asset;
  • Experience in managing multiple currencies is an asset;
  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills;
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a context of changing priorities;
  • Sense of initiative and responsibility;
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills;
  • Autonomy and ability to learn quickly;
  • Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis.

  • The position can be based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station;
  • This position is a P3 level.
