Our Compliance & Risk Management Group in Business Enablement Services is seeking an Analyst, Risk Management, to join our growing team. This group helps ensure the firm and its personnel comply with Professional, Regulatory, and KPMG Global policies and standards. The role focuses on monitoring compliance with standards related to personal independence, including those established by the SEC, PCAOB, CPA Code, IESBA Code, and AICPA.

This is a remote position.

What You Will Do

• Develop understanding of independence rules and internal policies by consulting with subject matter experts and reviewing policies.
• Conduct personal independence compliance audits and monitor adherence to standards.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential policy breaches to the Compliance Manager.
• Respond to inquiries related to investments in KICS and personal independence policies via help desk channels.
• Assist with other compliance tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed.

What You Bring To The Role

Post-secondary education in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Strong research and analytical skills to interpret standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in high-volume environments, maintaining quality under pressure.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional relationships.

Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information

The salary range for this position in BC is $54,000 to $81,000, with potential bonuses. Compensation depends on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
