Job summary

Altis Technology in Mississauga is seeking an experienced data and analytics leader to shape insights into business decisions within a regulated healthcare environment. You will own data products, apply advanced analytics, ML and BI to create scalable solutions that drive performance.

Collaborating with senior leaders, you will translate complex needs into practical data products, dashboards and executive storytelling, guiding adoption and governance across functions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in analytics, data science, BI, data product management, or insights roles.
  • Bachelor's in a quantitative field; Masters is a plus.
  • Strong SQL, Python, and data visualization tooling skills.
  • Experience with large data platforms (Snowflake/Azure) and CRM data is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, roadmap, backlog and lifecycle of analytics and data products.
  • Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives across business, technology, governance and partners.
  • Design and support predictive models, ML, forecasting and A/B experimentation.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and self-service analytics for trusted insights.
  • Turn findings into executive-level stories and business cases.
  • Mentor analysts and promote data storytelling and reporting quality.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data and analytics professional to shape how insights are turned into meaningful business decisions within a large, regulated healthcare environment. Youll combine data product ownership, advanced analytics, machine learning and business intelligence to create scalable solutions that improve performance, customer value and decision quality.

Working closely with senior leaders, business teams, technology partners, operations and analytics professionals, youll translate complex needs into practical data products and actionable insights. The role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to influence how data is used across multiple functions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Youll own the vision, roadmap, backlog and lifecycle of analytics and data products, translating business needs into requirements, KPIs and delivery priorities.
  • Youll lead cross-functional analytics initiatives involving business, technology, operations, governance, privacy and external partners.
  • Youll design and support predictive models, machine learning solutions, forecasting, segmentation, hypothesis testing and A/B experimentation.
  • Youll develop dashboards, scorecards, reporting frameworks and self-service analytics that provide trusted, actionable insights.
  • Youll use SQL, Python, Snowflake, Salesforce, Azure and BI platforms to analyze, transform and visualize complex datasets.
  • Youll turn analytical findings into clear executive-level stories, recommendations and business cases.
  • Youll mentor analysts and champion strong practices in data storytelling, model documentation, reporting quality and stakeholder engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, data product management, reporting or customer-facing insights.
  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or Business Analytics, with a Masters degree considered an asset.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, Power BI and/or Tableau, plus experience with data visualization and executive storytelling.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Azure, large-scale datasets, cloud analytics environments and data warehouses.
  • Hands-on experience with predictive modelling, machine learning, A/B testing, statistical analysis and model monitoring.
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM data, MLOps, data governance and privacy requirements is an asset.
  • Healthcare, specialty pharmacy, life sciences or other regulated-environment experience is considered an asset.
