Job summary

Coulson Aviation is seeking an experienced Senior Aircraft Structures AME – Team Lead to coordinate daily structural-maintenance activities and lead a team of structures technicians and apprentices. You will plan tasks, supervise repairs and modifications, and ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Transport Canada AME 'S' licence strongly preferred.
• Significant aircraft structures experience, including sheet-metal and composite repairs.
• Previous experience leading or supervising aircraft-maintenance personnel.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structural inspection, repair, fabrication, and modification practices.
• Demonstrated ability to plan work, establish priorities, delegate tasks, and maintain project schedules.
• Supportive leadership style and ability to coach and develop others.
• Ability to travel outside Canada when operationally required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily toolbox meetings; communicate priorities and assign work.
• Plan and delegate structural-maintenance tasks based on qualifications and schedules.
• Collaborate with management to plan projects and develop solutions.
• Monitor progress and adjust resources to meet schedules.
• Coordinate parts, materials, and consumables for structural projects.
• Provide technical direction, coaching, and support to technicians and apprentices.
• Identify training needs and advise management.
• Monitor attendance and address issues per company procedures.
• Support performance evaluations and development discussions.
• Perform sheet-metal and composite inspections, repairs, modifications, and installations.
• Interpret drawings, manuals, data, and standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs and submit on time.
• Foster a safe, respectful, organized, productive workplace.
