Job summary

Bilinguallink in Canada is seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to design and build Python applications powered by large language models and AI agents, taking ownership from prototype to production. This hands‑on role mentors a junior developer, defines strong engineering practices, and collaborates with stakeholders across Canada inside a hybrid Montréal office.

Employment is permanent full‑time with 35 hours per week, a starting CAD 140,000 base plus an annual bonus, and comprehensive group

Qualifications

• Strong Python software development experience with production deployments.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered or agentic AI applications beyond prototype stage.
• Ability to own end-to-end technical delivery of an application.
• Strong API development, system integrations, testing and code review skills.
• Experience mentoring developers or guiding others while coding actively.
• Fast learner, able to solve unfamiliar problems and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professional English proficiency; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Python applications powered by generative AI, including agents that use tools and internal systems.
• Develop secure API integrations using MCP servers and other tools.
• Turn ideas into prototypes and evolve them into production solutions.
• Make architecture decisions ensuring reliability, security and maintainability.
• Improve code quality via testing, reviews, docs and CI/CD practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement lasting fixes.
• Mentor a junior developer and establish strong engineering practices.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify requests and priorities.
