Auxo is hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer for a fast-growing startup building AI-powered products for the financial industry.

The company combines data aggregation with advanced AI to help financial advisors deliver smarter, more personalized insights to their clients.

You’ll take a lead role in scaling generative AI systems, optimizing infrastructure, and mentoring a growing team of engineers.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and lead the design, development, and deployment of AI systems using LLMs, RAG, and agentic capabilities
• Build and maintain production‑grade pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and model integration
• Develop microservices and APIs supporting LLM‑based features such as chatbots and smart automation
• Evaluate and optimize model performance and cost using Gemini, Claude, and GPT
• Collaborate with data and backend teams to align AI development with product goals
• Drive innovation through benchmarking, experimentation, and best practices
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers to strengthen the team’s technical depth

Who You Are

• 6+ years designing and deploying AI/ML systems in production
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and frameworks like FastAPI
• Proven experience with LLMs, RAG, and context‑retrieval systems
• Experience integrating with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini APIs
• Skilled with cloud AI services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker/Terraform/CI‑CD
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and microservice architectures
• Great communicator who thrives in small, fast‑moving teams
• Fintech experience is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom agent frameworks
• Hands‑on experience benchmarking or fine‑tuning LLMs
• Familiarity with multi‑model orchestration or hybrid AI environments
