AI Developer (Fully Remote)

Our client is looking for an exceptional AI Developer based in Canada to join a high-impact, fast-moving engineering team building advanced AI and machine learning solutions.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain AI-driven software systems and models
• Develop and optimize machine learning and NLP pipelines, including LLM-based workflows
• Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to define requirements, design systems, and evaluate architecture
• Apply best engineering practices: unit testing, version control, CI/CD, and peer review
• Run experiments, analyze results, and continuously improve model performance
• Work across APIs, microservices, and cloud environments
• Contribute ideas, research, and prototypes that push the boundaries of AI adoption

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of SQL
• Ability to read and understand basic C# / .NET code (small adjustments only)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
• Familiarity with API integrations and microservices concepts
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a small, highly agile team

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years in software engineering, ML engineering, or AI development
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
• Experience with ETL processes, end-to-end ML pipelines
• Knowledge of big data tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Solr, etc.
