Geotab Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Platform Developer to build and maintain internal machine learning platforms and GenAI agents at scale in Oakville, Ontario.

You will collaborate with data scientists, implement logging and monitoring, and help enrich telematics data with robust data pipelines for production systems. Qualifications

• :Bachelor's level degree in CS/Software/CE or related
• 3–5 years experience as software developer or similar
• 3–5 years experience building production systems in Python
• 3–5 years experience with cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• 1–5 years experience containerizing apps (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Knowledge of fine-tuning/hosting LLMs and GenAI frameworks is a plus
• Experience with OpenSpec, Ralph, Agent Sandbox, Sourcegraph preferred
• Knowledge of AI/ML platforms (Ray, VertexAI, Bedrock) and Big Data environments like BigQuery

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new ML platforms and GenAI apps
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for AI platform health
• Enrich big data with telematics in production
• Collaborate with data scientists to meet data processing needs
• Create documentation for architecture and processes
• Support internal teams with data integration for AI platforms
