Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Ethics and Policy Advisor to shape the ethical trajectory of AI initiatives within a fully remote, global team. You will craft guidelines, assess risks, and guide policy development while engaging with diverse stakeholders to build trust and integrity in AI systems.

The role requires advanced degrees and 7+ years in AI ethics or policy, with strong research, communication, and governance experience.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of AI ethics, policy, and governance.
Experience building ethical guidelines and governance frameworks.
Proven ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine ethical frameworks, policies, and best practices for AI development and deployment.
Conduct comprehensive ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for AI initiatives.
Advise internal teams on AI ethics considerations and compliance.
Monitor global AI regulations and standards; engage with policymakers and academia.
Develop training materials and workshops on AI ethics for employees.
Champion transparency, accountability, and fairness in AI systems.
Contribute to thought leadership through publications and presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ethical principles across the AI lifecycle.
Provide strategic guidance on navigating complex ethical challenges in AI.
