With 5+ years in AI development and proven production experience, you’ll lead technical discussions, mentor colleagues, and help scale the product. Fluency in French and English is required to navigate a bilingual environment.

Abbeal is hiring a Senior AI Developer (Senior AI Engineer) for a fast-growing Montreal AI startup. Permanent position, direct hire by the client.

The role

• Design the architecture of the new project's AI agents and keep it evolving.
• Deliver end to end, from the API to the database, in production and for real users.
• Make results reliable by measuring performance, testing, and making sure every change keeps things working.
• Raise the team's bar: code reviews, best practices, mentoring more junior profiles.
• Take part in technical and product decisions with the founders.
