Job summary

Honeycomb is hiring for a role focused on building and scaling AI agents within Canvas. You will design production-grade agents that investigate, reason, and act on live observability data, owning the work from prototype to production-grade delivery.

You will work with a fast-moving team to extend Canvas, the MCP server, and Canvas Skills memory, with payoff in higher fidelity data analysis and automated incident reasoning.

Qualifications

• Shipped LLM-based systems in production, not demos.
• Ability to design around agent-system failure modes.
• Strong judgment on evolving agent design trends.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-grade agents that reason about live observability data.
• Own the agent work across scope, build, ship, and maintain evals.
• Build agents that leverage high-cardinality data to correlate across services.
• Extend Canvas, MCP server, and Canvas Skills with new capabilities.
