National Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Advisor in Supplier Governance within the IT Vendor Management team. You will govern external technology suppliers, drive governance meetings with partners, and assess performance with actionable reports while mitigating third‑party risks.

You will participate in contract negotiations and monitor lifecycle activities, influencing stakeholders to improve service quality and supplier relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with seven years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Proven experience in supplier governance in the IT field
• Experience in managing supplier performance and producing reports
• Experience in contract management, particularly in monitoring the contract lifecycle
• Experience in managing third-party risks and implementing mitigation measures
• Negotiation experience with suppliers and business partners

A career as a Senior Advisor in Supplier Governance on the it Vendor Management team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in managing relationships, performance and risks related to suppliers. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organisation thanks to your experience in governance of technology providers, contract management and negotiation.

• Governance of external technology suppliers by establishing lasting relationships and ensuring compliance with contractual commitments

The Vice-President – Operations, Security, it and Supplier Management, is a team made up of several specialists who work agile, proactive and collaborative to seize opportunities, stay at the forefront of their field and continuously improve processes.

You are part of a team of 35 colleagues in the it Vendor Management and Business Relations group and report to the Senior Manager. Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and seven years of relevant experience OR any other combination of training and experience deemed equivalent
• Proven experience in supplier governance in the it field
• Experience in managing supplier performance and producing reports
• Experience in contract management, particularly in monitoring the contract lifecycle
• Experience in managing third-party risks and implementing mitigation measures
• Negotiation experience with suppliers and business partners

Languages: French, English
