About the Role

As a Senior Advisor Cash Management within the Commercial Banking team at National Bank, you will lead the team responsible for setting up and maintaining cash management products and services. Your role involves preparing, completing, administering, and distributing documentation. This position offers the opportunity to positively impact the organization by supporting the growth and retention of our banking centre portfolio of diversified clients and their operational banking needs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead Cash Management Specialists in partnering with Banking Centre, Real Estate, and Equipment Finance teams to deliver comprehensive business banking solutions aligned with financial goals.
  • Revenue Assurance & Process Oversight: Oversee service fee programming, account reviews, and error prevention to ensure accurate fee collection and minimize reimbursements.
  • Client Experience Management: Promote exceptional client service through timely and effective responses that reflect the bank's brand promise.
  • Operational Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to KYC/AML guidelines, participate in audits, and oversee accurate reporting and remedial projects.
  • Marketing & CRM Engagement: Guide team involvement in marketing initiatives and ensure consistent use of CRM tools for business development.
  • Coaching & Development: Provide leadership and coaching to enhance team members' skills in administration and client service.

You will be part of a team of expert specialists in the Cash Management - Commercial Banking sector, reporting to the VP and Market Lead, Edmonton Downtown District. Basic Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of banking experience, including 2 years in a support or administrative role.
  • Strong background in cash management, treasury management, payments, merchant services, liquidity, and investment products.
  • Excellent knowledge of cash management products, services, fees, and renewal terms.
  • Solid understanding of Payment Canada Rules, deposit and investment products, and market knowledge.
  • Leadership skills to empower and coach a team, fostering performance, engagement, and career development.
Languages and Skills

English proficiency is required. Skills include Cash Management, Client Relations, and Leadership.
