Job summary

National Bank of Canada is seeking a senior advisor to shape the consultant recruitment strategy and support managers in defining needs. You will manage hires, monitor processes, and guide IT leaders in recruiting resources while acting as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders.

You will foster relationships with partner firms, govern internal tools for vendor management, and advise on market trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Qualifications

• University degree related to the industry and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or sourcing of professional resources.
• Experience in advising and supporting managers.
• Experience in a consulting or consulting environment.
• Experience in managing partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate a complex environment and build long-lasting partnerships.
• Experience in sourcing IT consultants, an asset.
• Experience in managing vendors or professional services, an asset.

Your job

• Advise and support managers in defining their needs and in their consultant recruitment strategies.
• Take care of the management and administrative follow-up of hires in the various sectors
• Support IT leaders in the recruitment of their resource and the monitoring of processes
• Act as an advisory partner to managers to guide them in the identification and acquisition of the best external talent.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner firms to foster a common understanding of the organization's needs and priorities.
• Coordinates and collaborates with the Procurement sector on professional services and suppliers.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external partners in the files under your responsibility.
• Ensure the governance of an internal tool supporting the management of consultants and their performance.
• Mobilize and influence the various stakeholders in order to promote the achievement of business objectives.
• Advise partners on market trends, sourcing strategies and best practices in talent acquisition.
• Prepare recommendations and support decision-making in matters related to consultants and vendor partners.

Within the Data Delivery and Transversal Capabilities sector in the Dynamic Transversal Talent Management team, you will be part of a team that contributes to the acquisition of consulting talent and the management of strategic partnerships.
