WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Advance Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team as a permanent position. We are looking for an experienced quality professional with a strong manufacturing background, structured problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ideally, this individual has previous experience with pumping, hydraulic, electromechanical, or related products. This role will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Set quality objectives for NPI projects and ensure their execution at all stages of the NPI cycle.
• Utilize tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Validation.
• Lead product and process launch quality activities with process capability and statistical relevance, while adhering to validation protocols.
• Conduct data collection, analysis, trending, and reporting.
• Use statistical analysis and reliability software.
• Maintain documentation for quality planning and ensure work instructions, production, and control plans meet customer requirements and production goals. Supervise and coordinate Lean Six Sigma Quality workshops.
• Lead thorough investigations with effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions.
• Support key processes as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with multiple functions and sites to deploy continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Informed Decision Making, Quality, and Quality by Design principles.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer/Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on or design experience with electromechanical systems.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience deploying APQP, PPAP, Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
• Experience in new product and process validations.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) training.
