Job summary

MNP LLP in Calgary is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support the Quality and Operations teams. You will help manage calendars, prepare reports, coordinate meetings, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations within a leading Canadian firm.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with senior leaders. English proficiency required; French is a plus. Includes MyRewards@MNP and Diversity@MNP programs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of increasingly complex administrative responsibilities.
  • Written and verbal English language skills; French considered an asset.
  • Excellent organization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and client service focus.
  • Ability to influence others to keep tasks on track.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence materials including templates, documents, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations and Excel workbooks; reviewing and modifying as required.
  • Research, compile and summarize data and key information.
  • Schedule and coordinate logistics for meetings, events, travel arrangements, and other business activities.
  • Coordinate meeting agendas and supporting materials; record minutes and action items to distribute or archive as required.
  • Support leaders with calendar and email management.
  • Support leaders with invoicing and preparation of expense reports for submission.
  • Support day to day operations including drafting team communications, coordinating team member on / off boarding, maintaining distributions lists, reviewing time codes, and approving expense reports.
  • Maintain process documentation and contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and leaders.
  • Build relationships and communicate regularly with key stakeholders.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, business, and industry.

Responsibilities

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of increasingly complex administrative responsibilities
  • Written and verbal English language skills, with French considered an asset
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage time in a fast paced and agile environment
  • Strong attention to detail and client service focus
  • Demonstrated ability to move tasks forward with minimal direction, including the ability to influence others to keep tasks on track and proactively raise concerns as needed
  • Strong critical thinking and professional judgement skills to apply guidelines and best practices consistently across tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate professionally at all levels
  • Any of the following would be considered an asset:
  • Post‑secondary education in Business Administration
  • Prior experience working with senior leaders in a Professional Services environment
