Job summary

The Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity is seeking an Administrator & Operations Manager to provide senior administrative and operational leadership for Institute operations. This role oversees core administrative, financial, and operational functions supporting 90+ personnel and multi-sector partnerships, ensuring continuity and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Institute operations; provide administrative and operational leadership in support of research, training, and innovation activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day operations; establish priorities; monitor workflows and service delivery.
• Resolve complex operational issues; ensure timely follow-up and continuity across CIC and CADC.
• Supervise administrative staff; assign and prioritize work; monitor performance and coverage.
• Oversee and review administrative and financial transactions; ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Manage HR administration including staffing, onboarding/offboarding, and confidential records.
• Serve as liaison with People & Culture, Faculty of Computer Science, and other units; guide HR processes.
• Coordinate orientation and security screening for Institute members.
• Serve as primary administrative liaison with internal and external stakeholders; coordinate meetings and follow-up.
• Lead the planning and delivery of Institute-wide meetings and events, including the Industry Summit.
• Coordinate special initiatives involving visiting faculty and external partners.
• Lead communications operations and digital presence, including websites.
