Job summary

Marsh in Toronto seeks a senior actuary to join the Global Analytics & Advisory Actuarial team. This hybrid role requires three in-office days weekly and partners with brokers and clients to deliver advanced analytics and valuations.

You will guide model development, pricing strategies, and client solutions, while leading day-to-day project parts and leveraging Power BI/Tableau to visualize results. Strong ACAS/FCAS and 7–10 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ACAS or FCAS designation or in progress with extensive actuarial experience.
• Minimum 7–10 years actuarial industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics or related field.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Propose actuarial services and valuations to clients to mitigate risk.
• Modify complex models and develop value-added models to assess risk and forecast losses.
• Drive business development by expanding client services beyond transactions.
• Lead team to build complex models and pricing strategies for various risk exposures.
• Advise senior management and coordinate with brokers and clients to support reinsurance transactions.
• Communicate with brokers, reinsurers, and clients to anticipate needs and promote actuarial services.
