Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Senior Health and Benefits Actuarial Consultant to join the Health and Benefits team in Canada. The role manages a portfolio of OPEB clients, signs off on valuation results, and supports year-end disclosures and projections.

You will lead client engagements, present assumptions, support auditor requests, and guide analysts and associates while collaborating with other teams to deliver health benefits strategies and renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• At least seven years of experience in an actuarial field, health and benefits consulting experience.
• Must have achieved, or be progressing toward, FCIA designation.

Responsibilities

• Review data analyses for actuarial accuracy and staff development.
• Perform and review complex analyses and cost projections using Excel and in-house software.
• Draft and review client reports and presentations on valuation results and assumptions.
