MOSAIC is a Canadian non-profit delivering settlement and integration services across Greater Vancouver. The Activity Coach role supports Choose to Move for older adults, delivering group activities and one-on-one sessions.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree, certificate or diploma in a relevant field or 2+ years of demonstrated experience in working with diverse client groups.
• Experience with job coaching, counseling, or mentoring clients.
• Experience conducting needs assessments and developing action plans with clients.
• Strong customer service and ability to work in person and virtually.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Choose to Move program after training.
• Conduct outreach to older adults in diverse communities.
• Organize intake sessions and assess readiness using Get Active Questionnaire.
• Assist participants in creating personal physical and social activity plans.
• Maintain documentation and participate in program evaluation activities.
