Job summary

Exocor in the Niagara region seeks a detail-oriented, reliable Senior Accounting Coordinator to join our Finance team. This is a new role as our current Accounting Manager plans retirement, and there is a clear path to promotion to Accounting Manager.You will manage full-cycle accounting, bank reconciliations, payroll remittances, and support the data migration from Dynamics SL to Sage 300, while preparing monthly statements and providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on full-cycle bookkeeping or senior accounting experience.
• Experience with Sage 300 or Dynamics SL is highly valued.
• College diploma or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily transactional accounting including AP, AR, invoicing, and collections.
• Execute monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare standard payroll cycles and government remittances (HST, WSIB, EHT).
• Assist in data migration from Dynamics SL to Sage 300.
• Assist in monthly financial statement preparation and supporting documents.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Provide administrative support and manage day-to-day tasks.
