Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

About the Position

The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for completing a wide range of accounting and reporting activities to keep the financial records accurate, complete, and timely to support effective decision making.

This position is highly visible within the organization, working with senior leadership. It requires a high degree of acumen, accuracy, integrity, and accountability. The role is part of a larger interdisciplinary team supporting the company’s real estate projects, both under management and in development.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with the accounts payable associate to manage the payables process, resolve vendor issues, and manage contracts to facilitate effective cash management throughout the organization.
• Review property management financial reports for accuracy, performance, and proper accounting treatment of transactions.
• Provide relevant budget and comparative information as needed.
• Work with internal and external accountants to compile information required for tax compliance and financial audits.
• Prepare and maintain fixed asset schedules.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience preferred
