Senior Accountant - Onsite(Direct Hire)

Position Type:

Overview:
We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our client’s growing team in Orange County. This hybrid role offers a great opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, analysis, and month-end processes within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, accruals, and account reconciliations.

• Conduct detailed operating expense reviews and flux analysis to ensure accurate expense reporting.

• Review monthly budget-to-actual variances and ensure proper account classification.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, supporting schedules, and internal reporting packages.

• Support corporate consolidations and intercompany eliminations.

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash updates.

• Provide financial data analysis and assist with audit schedules and compliance reporting.

• Gain exposure to key areas including fixed assets, intangible assets, leases, property taxes, and sales & use tax.

• Leverage strong Excel skills and financial systems; Oracle experience is highly preferred.

• Communicate effectively across departments and present financial insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle, SAP, NetSuite or similar ERP systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
