Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a manufacturing client in the Irvine area. This role is an onsite contract engagement, ideal for a professional bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred). You will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• General Ledger Management: Oversee and manage general ledger accounting functions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes and ensure timely payments.
• Taxation Support: Provide support with tax compliance and preparation.
• Auditing Support: Assist with internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, costing, and financial analysis.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Mandarin speaking is preferred but not required.
