Job summary

A stable private company is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end closing, and prepare financial statements. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and be comfortable with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Bilingual in French and English is required. Job description

You’re an experienced accountant who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle end-to-end. You’re autonomous, detail-oriented, and looking for a stable, well-structured private company where your expertise is trusted—without micromanagement.

What you’ll do

• Own the full accounting cycle:
• Journal entries, complex bank reconciliations
• Intercompany transactions
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Lead month-end and year-end close (trial balance, adjusting entries, reporting)
• Prepare internal financial statements and management reports
• Identify process gaps, errors, or delays—and implement practical improvements
• Provide documentation and support for audits
• Participate in special projects (investments, ERP implementation, automation)

What we’re looking for

• 5–10 years of experience in full-cycle accounting (industry and/or public practice)
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, analysis)
• Comfortable with an ERP (SAP, Oracle, Acomba, or similar)
• High autonomy, strong judgment, and a structured/rigorous work style
• Bilingual requirement (French/English): English is used to communicate with certain external partners outside Québec (in line with Bill 96)
