DCCHail, part of the ACX network, is seeking a Senior Accountant for the AutoCanada Home Office in Edmonton, AB. This onsite role offers a competitive salary and benefits, with responsibilities spanning bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

• Some work experience in accounting roles.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

What are the must haves…

• Some work experience in accounting related roles. Need to know how to apply accounting concepts in real world situations
• Very sound accounting knowledge. Needs to understand concept of job costing, accruals, prepaids, receivables, payables and how intercompany transactions and personal items are handled.
• Experience in using accounting software such as QBO or Sage for data processing and reconciliation
• Good understanding of how GST/HST works. Have understanding of how various PST works is an asset.
• Good time management to meet all deadlines
• Maintain good communications with all parties
• Remain attention to details in fast pace environment and when handling high volume of data
• Adaptable to changes to meet business needs
