EllisDon invites applications for a Senior Accountant to join our Head Office accounting team. The role focuses on balance sheet and income statement analysis, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and cost allocations, supporting project teams and audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Well-organized, proactive and detail-oriented; able to self-manage in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis, reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and cost allocations.
• Perform accounting and internal reporting functions including invoicing and receivables, assist with purchases and payables.
• Assist with corporate month-end internal reporting and external audits by preparing working papers and documentation.
• Provide ongoing accounting and finance support to project teams.
• Assist Head Office accounting department with other projects as needed
• Salary range is $70,000 - $90,000.
