Baker Tilly Canada Cooperative in Toronto, ON is seeking a Senior Accountant - Audit & Accounting to join our team. You will prepare compilations, reviews, and audit engagements while mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA designation (or is working toward it), has public practice experience, and strong client service and communication skills. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a flexible hybrid work model.

Your Role:

• Preparing compilations, reviews, NTRs, and audit engagements;
• Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns,
• Mentoring and training staff;
• Working under tight deadlines, delivering quality work, anticipating and resolving client issues in a timely manner;
• Corresponding with partners and clients; and
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

• CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation; completion of CFE
• Public practice experience is required
• Experienced in both Private and Public Enterprise is an asset
• Superior people and client service skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadline
