As a Senior Accountant [Audit], your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to clients under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
• Providing clients with recommendations and solutions on current business and financial conditions
• Planning, preparing, and executing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations, including budget and resource requirements
• Preparing various types of tax returns and responding to CRA requests for information
• Contributing to building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice
• Supervising, coaching, and providing timely feedback to junior engagement team members on diverse engagements
• Performing other duties as required

Interested in becoming a Senior Accountant [Audit]? Here are some of the qualifications we're looking for:
• Completed post-secondary degree/diploma
• CPA designation or near completion (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA, or CPA, CGA)
• Minimum 2 years of public practice audit experience
• Strong technical expertise in audit, accounting, and tax
• Experience in tax return preparation
• Focus on exceptional client service and relationship building
• Strong planning and time management skills
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and approaches
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Mentoring and coaching experience considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software such as CaseWare, TaxPrep, Sage, QuickBooks, and adaptability to new technologies

Our compensation in Kelowna, BC, ranges from $59,000 to $79,000, with variations based on location and experience. We value work-life balance and team collaboration, requiring in-office presence 4 days a week.
