Job Description

• Manage and support Canadian indirect tax (GST/HST, QST) and direct tax compliance and reporting
• Monitor evolving Canadian tax legislation and assess business impacts
• Provide practical and business-oriented tax guidance on operational initiatives
• Partner closely with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Product) on tax-related matters
• Support internal audits and external tax authority reviews
• Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts within the tax function

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 4 years of experience in tax advisory or in-house tax, ideally within a tech or platform-based environment
• Strong technical knowledge of Canadian tax issues, particularly indirect tax
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate tax matters clearly across teams
• CPA designation or equivalent is considered an asset
