Our client, a respected and growing public accounting firm in downtown Toronto, is looking to add a Senior Audit Accountant to their Assurance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys public practice, working closely with clients, and contributing to a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and execute audit engagements for a range of privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations

• Oversee all stages of fieldwork — planning, execution, and completion

• Prepare financial statements and related working papers in accordance with ASPE or ASNPO

• Identify and communicate audit issues, risks, and recommendations

• Review work of junior staff and provide guidance and mentorship

• Collaborate directly with partners and managers on client needs and deadlines

• Assist in the development of audit programs and engagement tools

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide proactive advice

What We’re Looking For

• CPA designated or in final stages of completion

• 3–5 years of audit experience in public practice

• Strong knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, and Canadian GAAS

• Comfortable managing multiple client engagements and deadlines

• Solid communication skills — both written and verbal

• Experience reviewing files and mentoring junior team members

• Familiar with Caseware, TaxPrep, and other audit software
