As a Senior Accountant, Assurance [Audit], your responsibilities will include :

• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to clients under various reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
• Planning, preparing, and executing financial statements with appropriate note disclosures
• Planning, preparing, and executing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations, including budget and resource planning
• Planning and executing fieldwork assignments, including budget and resource needs
• Contributing to building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our practice
• Supervising, coaching, and providing feedback to junior team members on engagements
• Performing other duties as required

Qualifications :

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• CPA accreditation or nearing completion
• At least 2 years of public practice audit experience
• Strong technical audit and accounting skills
• Excellent client service and relationship skills
• Effective planning and time management skills
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and solutions
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Mentoring experience is an asset
