Job summary

BDO Canada LLP in Montreal is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance team and own the engagement execution, planning, and client collaboration. Your Opportunity

Our Montreal office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Effectively perform assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed
  • Effectively plan and execute assurance engagements
  • Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using your strong technical skills and accounting experience
  • Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing issues relevant to the client’s business

Your experience and education
  • You have completed your CPA designation.
  • You have at least 3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.

  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
