We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and loves diving into the details without losing sight of the bigger picture. This role will be critical in supporting our month-end close process, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration as we scale.

What You’ll Do

• Own components of the month-end close process including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review key balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Support financial reporting for internal stakeholders, auditors, and leadership
• Partner with FP&A and operations to understand business drivers and ensure accurate financial results
• Assist in improving and documenting accounting policies and procedures
• Help with the integration of new studios, systems, and processes as Tend expands
• Provide support for audits, tax filings, and compliance initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; mix of public and private preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and collaboration skills—especially across teams
• A desire to work in a mission-driven, growth-focused company

Pay Range

80,000 - $90,000 USD
