A fast-growing software portfolio company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its international finance team. This unique role offers exposure to multiple business units across the Americas and Australia/New Zealand, with a focus on financial reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. It's ideal for professionals with a strong IFRS background, particularly IFRS 15 and 16.

About the Role
Reporting to the Portfolio CFO and working alongside controllers and senior leaders, this role supports financial reporting, integration of newly acquired businesses, and month-end activities. You’ll take part in day-to-day accounting operations, support automation initiatives, and lead intercompany processes across global entities. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for select business units and acquisitions
• Support month-end reporting, including IFRS 15 contract reviews and financial note disclosures
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation across entities
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to automation and systems upgrades
• Collaborate with local finance teams to enhance accuracy in reporting and operations
• Participate in finance transformation projects and support system integrations (e.g., ERP)
• Assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audit processes

What You Bring

• CPA designation (or in final stages of completion)
• 3+ years of accounting experience in public practice or industry
• Hands-on experience with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 is strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP or NetSuite) is an asset
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work across time zones and functions
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is an asset, but not required
