This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, operational efficiency, billing accuracy, and compliance as we scale. You’ll work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to maintain financial integrity, champion automation opportunities, and support data-driven, forward-looking decision-making across the business. The skills and expertise that you bring to table :

• CPA designation preferred; candidates nearing completion will also be considered
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth or product-based environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, billing, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Odoo is a strong asset
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• A forward-thinking mindset focused on continuous improvement and process automation
• Ability to present financial insights clearly and collaborate cross-functionally with non-financial teams

Your responsibilities at Print Geek :

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reporting packages
• Oversee accurate and timely customer invoicing, ensuring alignment with SO and billing processes
• Reconcile sub-ledgers (AP, AR, Inventory) and investigate discrepancies or variances
• Support inventory and costing analysis in collaboration with fulfillment and operations teams
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Coordinate and support external audits, year-end financial reviews, and compliance requirements
• Handle HST filings, tax remittances, and general regulatory compliance
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting workflows, automation, and ERP system integration (preferably Odoo)
• Support internal controls and maintain policy documentation
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Teams, and cloud-based accounting tools to streamline processes
