Base pay range

CA$80,000.00/yr - CA$90,000.00/yr

We’re partnering with a leader in the telecom & infrastructure space to find a hands-on Senior Accountant who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Director, Controllership, you will gain exposure to the full financials—from journal entries to variance analysis—working alongside cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Month-End Closing: Hands-on with month-end, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (banks, AR, AP, prepaid expenses, inventory, capital assets, accrued liabilities, CAPEX).
• Financial Reporting: Be a key player in the preparation of financial statements, analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and deliver actionable insights to business leaders. Resolve financial inquiries promptly to support informed decision-making.
• Financial Operations: Maintain lease schedules, collaborate with AP team to track 3rd party capital infrastructure spend.
• Sales Tax, Compliance & Audit: Manage sales tax filing returns.Work with controllership team toprepare and submit compliance documents (i.e. tax, industry specific etc.). Support audits – responding to inquiries, preparing reports and schedules as appropriate.
• Internal Controls & Process: Collaborate with the Director to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Ad Hoc Support: Take ownership of ad hoc requests and projects, including deep-dive cost analysis.

What You Bring

• CPA-track (enrolled and near completion) with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on month-end close and financial reporting, ideally in the Telecom, Real Estate, Infrastructure or Technology (IT consulting or infrastructure) related industries.
• Understanding of US GAAP in addition to IFRS highly valued.
• Advanced Excel – Able to manage large data sets, using variety of advanced functionality within Excel.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to partner at every level of the organization, especially senior Leadership.
• Work environment: Hybrid, 3 days in-office.
• Location: Toronto - Dufferin & Queen West.
• Type of Role: Permanent, Full-Time.
