Senior Accountant – Multi-Unit Hospitality/Retail Experience Required

Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking to join a fast-growing, dynamic company in the hospitality/retail industry? This role offers the opportunity to be part of an expanding team and contribute to the financial success of a multi-location business.

As a key member of the Finance team, you’ll be responsible for financial reporting, month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial analysis. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, hospitality/retail accounting expertise, and the ability to streamline financial operations while working cross-functionally with other teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and provide insights on financial trends.
• Perform variance analysis, forecasting, and support budget preparation.
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure proper reconciliations.
• Oversee payroll accounting, including reporting, journal postings, and accruals.
• Handle sales tax filings and compliance, assisting with audits as needed.
• Optimize financial data, processes, and reporting tools for greater efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide data-driven financial insights.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Hospitality or retail industry experience required, particularly in a multi-unit/location business.
• Experience with ERP systems (cloud-based preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate financial data into business insights.
