What you will do :

  • Prepare and analyze monthly operating statements for senior management and department managers and other stakeholders, shareholders and banking partners.
  • Responsible for period closing, account reconciliations, working papers analysis, maintenance and report generation.
  • Owning accounting processes within ERP system.
  • Assist in the business planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles through partnering with the management team.
  • Work with operations to define, measure, analyze and improve current processes with impacts to financial results.
  • Investigating to recognize variances and ensure departments understand the story behind the variances.
  • Support and backup for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.

Who you are :

  • A dynamic well-rounded individual with excellent organizational and multi – tasking skills, able to work under pressure with meeting time sensitive deadlines.
  • Critical thinker with strong judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Digitally fluent in MSOffice 365, Teams and SharePoint
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Jet Reporting an asset and / or proficient in report writing with equivalent systems.
  • Hold a University degree in Business / Accounting, with advanced degree or professional accounting designation preferred or near completion of your designation.
