We are seeking a Senior Accountant – Consultant with a strong background in public accounting and proven experience working within law firms. This is a dynamic, client-facing position best suited for a high-performing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a key member of our consulting team, you will provide expert accounting guidance and support to law firm clients on a variety of financial and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to law firm clients on accounting best practices, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports tailored to law firm operations
• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders, including partners, CFOs, and legal administrators
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficient accounting workflows
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations and law firm billing structures
• Support audits, tax filings, and year-end reporting in coordination with client teams
• Mentor and guide junior staff as needed on client engagements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including time spent in a public accounting firm
• Direct experience working with or within law firms is required
• Strong understanding of legal industry accounting structures, including timekeeping, billing, and trust accounting
