Job summary

A dynamic insurance firm is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to enhance customer relationships and provide exceptional service within the construction and real estate sectors. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of insurance experience and possess a RIBO license, driving success through strong communication, analytical skills, and effective market strategies.

Job description

The successful candidate will provide service excellence to our customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio. We are looking for professionals who want to join an exciting, fast-paced environment with a strong learning culture and a focus on overall development.

How you will be Successful

  • Act as the primary client relationship manager in coordination with the account service team
  • Provide outstanding customer service and advisory to your assigned book of business
  • Meet with clients in person independently or with senior management
  • Ensure day-to-day service requests (certificates, changes, etc.) are being met in a timely manner, in coordination with the account service team
  • Conduct analysis of current risk transfer programs
  • Design insurance program strategies and provide creative, alternative solutions based on client objectives
  • Prepare insurance submissions and conduct market meetings and negotiations with support of the account service team
  • Monitor changing risk and insurance issues within the marketplace and advise clients to help them better understand their risks
  • Develop strong market relationships
  • At renewal, ensure all relevant markets are approached in a timely manner (90-120 days prior)
  • Coordinate all renewal options and present to the client 30 days in advance of renewal
  • Ensure premium finance terms have been furnished with every quote
  • Ensure payment schedule and understanding have been secured from the client
  • Ensure all accounts are paid and current within 60 days of inception of coverage

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction and / or real estate insurance experience
  • Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred
  • RIBO License is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team orientation with strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
