Job summary

Walmart Canada in Uxbridge, Ontario is seeking a Self-Checkout Attendant to assist customers at the self-checkout area, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and promote store programs. You will help customers complete transactions, respond to alarms, and manage Scan & Go equipment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Walmart policies and store procedures knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards and keep area clean, safe and organized.
• Promote Walmart programs and initiatives when applicable.
• Assist customers at Self Checkout, explain interventions and escalate issues as needed.
• Respond to EAS alarms and complete the required documentation.
• Manage Scan & Go equipment and ensure return to storage after use.
• Be flexible with shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
