Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring a Self-Checkout Attendant to support a positive shopping experience by assisting customers at the self-service area and ensuring smooth transactions.

You will maintain clean and organized checkout spaces, promote Walmart programs, assist customers with self-checkout, respond to EAS alerts, handle Scan & Go equipment, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards: keep area clean, safe, organized and free of debris.
• Promote Walmart programs and initiatives, including credit services and protection plans.
• Assist customers at self-checkout, help them complete transactions, and escalate issues when needed to the Customer Service Manager.
• Respond to EAS alerts and accurately complete the Failure to Deactivate log.
• Manage Scan & Go equipment and return scanners to storage after use.
• Open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
