Job summary

Seed Source seeks a Sales Manager to lead and grow our bulk seed, crop protection, and agronomy services business in Saskatchewan. You will work closely with the General Manager and ownership to develop strategy, strengthen customer relationships, support the sales team, and stay involved in day-to-day operations, especially during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in ag retail, seed sales, crop inputs, or related field.
• Exposure to crop protection and agronomy services; agronomy background is a plus.
• Proven leadership experience with ability to motivate and support a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute sales strategies across bulk seed, crop protection, and agronomy services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and wholesale customers through regular visits.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand market share.
• Analyze crop plans, market trends, and customer needs to forecast demand and guide sales decisions.
• Collaborate with operations and procurement to ensure inventory alignment and timely delivery.
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements with customers.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the sales and operations team.
• Represent Seed Source at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
• Remain hands-on during busy seasons, coordinating deliveries and assisting with loading seed as needed.
