Job summary

Taber Seed Cleaning Co-Operative Association is seeking a Plant Operator for our Grassy Lake, AB locations. This hands-on role supports seed processing lines, maintenance, and day-to-day facility operations to ensure safe, efficient production.

The ideal candidate demonstrates mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, strong English communication, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a small team. Day shift with potential for night shifts in peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and prepare seed cleaning facility for safe production.
• Support day-to-day operations and basic maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to housekeeping, safety, and quality procedures.
• Assist with receiving, storing and shipping of seed and grain.
• Work with a small team and be proactive in problem solving.
