Job summary

A developing energy company is seeking a Plant Operator for their facility in Drayton Valley, Alberta. This permanent position involves maintaining and operating plant systems safely while optimizing processes and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates will possess at least two years of experience in plant operation, relevant certifications, and strong communication skills. The role demands both teamwork and the ability to work independently, supporting a culture of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months as plant operator or 36 months in sour gas plant operation.
• Complete the training for the operator level.
• H2S Alive, First Aid/CPR, and Confined Space Entry certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the plant safely per regulations.
• Assist in optimizing plant processes and create work orders.
• Maintain accurate log sheets and report safety issues.
