Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA seeks an entry-level Facility Assistant I to support daily grain and special crops operations at our Brooks, Alberta facility. You will operate processing equipment, help with receiving and shipping, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safe, quality operations.

Flexibility to work 1st–3rd shifts, including weekends, is required. We offer health and wellness plans, retirement contributions and paid vacation/holidays.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Previous grain and/or special crops experience is asset.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain grain processing and farm supply equipment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Physical ability to perform duties in a grain or special crops facility, including good eyesight and color perception.

Responsibilities

• Operate grain and special crops processing equipment to meet quality and shipping requirements.
• Document and report bin mixes, collect samples, and support quality testing.
• Prepare and load railcars and trucks for outbound shipments.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and product samples.
• Receive and record incoming product, noting quality, damages or shortages; support inventory accuracy.
• Assist in evaluating product quality under supervision.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on processing equipment.
• Maintain facility and grounds in a safe, tidy condition per EH&S and ISO standards.
• Support other duties to ensure safe, efficient operations.
